The documentary All God’s Children premieres tonight (Nov. 14) at 6:30pm, at the Village East by Angelika Theater in New York City at the DocNYC Film Festival. It is the centerpiece of the festival and will be screening for several weeks.
The documentary features two Brooklyn communities – one Jewish, one Black — trying to overcome their cultural differences. Rabbi Rachel Timoner and Baptist Reverend Dr. Robert Waterman attempt to mend centuries of racism and antisemitism between their communities.
Creative marketing agency Xpedition, helped produce the film through its Doc Fund program.
Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and NY State Attorney General Letitia James also make cameo appearances.
MSNBC’s Ari Melber will be leading the discussion after the premiere screening tonight.
