| The Alliance for Downtown New York, along with Alamo Drafthouse and Fosun, present three free dance-themed films to enjoy under the night sky in Lower Manhattan. Big outdoor movie nights are a beloved summer tradition in New York City. This summer, the Downtown Alliance is teaming up with Alamo Drafthouse and Fosun to bring you Wednesday-night screenings once a month at Fosun Plaza (28 Liberty Street), featuring a slate of films that you can move to. Here’s the lineup — please note that all screenings are scheduled for 7 p.m., with plaza seating open at 6:30 p.m. Dancing with the Stars: Three Movies You Can Move To * Wednesday, July 13 @ 7:00 p.m. – Dirty Dancing * Wednesday, August 24 @ 7:00 p.m. – La La Land * Wednesday, September 21 @ 7:00 p.m. – In the Heights If you don’t have a favorite outdoor movie blanket, Fosun will be providing seats. Alamo Drafthouse will have some popcorn at the ready, though attendees are welcome to bring their own food and drinks. Alamo will also have posters and their own printing press at the plaza.
