It’s springtime in the city, and New York is back! Nowhere is that more evident than at SUMMIT One Vanderbilt, which recently surpassed 500,000 visitors, from more than 79 countries.
A must see for locals and tourists alike, the three-tiered SUMMIT opened its doors Oct. 2021, offering breathtaking views of the Manhattan skyline from midtown, in addition to stunning, kaleidoscopic views, enhanced by glass, lights, and mirrors. It will mesmerize the young and old, with photo and video ops of Manhattan’s glorious grid to treasure for years to come.
Now that spring is here, that means longer, lovelier NYC sunsets. SUMMIT’s Air By Night experience is a one-of-a-kind evening sound and light show designed by artist Kenzo Digital. As the lights of the city illuminate, AIR at NIGHT transforms the space into a beacon of energy, color and illusion and includes AFFINITY, an interactive room filled with hundreds of reflective orbs and UNITY, where visitors become part of the experience itself with their portraits transformed into projected clouds.
There are three basic packages offered: SUMMIT Experience (general admission, SUMMIT Ascent (general admission + Ascent elevator ride) , and Ultimate SUMMIT, that also includes admission, elevator ride, and a cocktail, that you can enjoy on the third level. (Locals take note-New York City residents receive preferred rates.) Prepare to spend some time here, a good hour and a half.
