The immersive Arte Museum at Chelsea Piers is now officially open. Its inaugural experience “Eternal Nature” is designed to awaken all senses. Through innovative technology, guests can stroll among blooming fields of flowers, listen to the sounds of the ocean and its inhabiters, meet and create mystical forest creatures.
“Eternal Nature” at Arte Museum Chelsea Piers consists of eight different exhibition spaces, each offering a different setting-fields of flowers, the beach, even a tornado. With the use of scents, sounds, and atmospheres, visitors are transported to other spaces. The experience also features different interactive aspects, such as moving flowers with the touch of your hand, and a live sketchbook, which allows your own animal come to come to life in the forest, encouraging creativity among guests.
The visionary creator or Arte Museum is d’strict, a world-renowned digital design company. In 2020 they opened first location in Aewol, Jeju, South Korea. Arte Museum New York is d’strict’s ninth global art exhibition, and only its second in the United States. A plaque at the exhibit states, “By transcending to the limits of physical space and time, Arte Museum guides visitors to rediscover the essence and permanence of nature and offers profound moments of reflection in the most intuitive and elemental space inspired by nature.”
After completing the experience, visitors can grab signature drinks and bites at the Arte Cafe.
Tickets for both the Arte Museum and the Arte Cafe can be purchased here. The Arte Museum is open seven days a week, from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM Monday through Thursday, and 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM Friday through Sunday.
